Carli N. Rabon

Carli N. Rabon is a Los Angeles–based cinematographer, photographer, visual artist, and casting director whose practice spans documentary, commercial, editorial, and immersive installation. Working between documentary and fine art, she creates emotionally driven images that explore intimacy, memory, identity, and the quiet tension between the physical and the spiritual.

Originally from the Midwest, Carli approaches storytelling with curiosity and empathy, seeking out moments that feel honest, unexpected, and deeply human. Whether photographing intimate portraits, FILMING documentaries, or creating large-scale multimedia installations, her work is rooted in observation and emotional connection.

Previously, Carli served as Producer, Casting Director, and Director of Photography at StyleLikeU, where she led productions from development through post-production while collaborating with artists and cultural figures including Janelle Monáe, Paulina Porizkova, Victoria Pedretti, Raja, Stacy London, and Amanda Seales.

Her work continues to move fluidly between documentary, editorial, commercial, and independent artistic practice. She is always interested in collaborating on projects that value curiosity, vulnerability, and thoughtful visual storytelling.
